Located in Ponsonby, Chillout Cafe offers delicious yet beautifully presented dishes that are not exaggerated like some new cafes do. They updated their menu a couple of weeks ago and I want to introduce some sweet dishes here.
First is the Fig & Honey Gelato Waffle with Nuts. This simple yet amazing combo is perfect if you are looking for a small bite with your coffee.
The new Cube French Toast is beautifully presented. The peanut butter stuffed brioche French toast comes with maple grilled banana, berries mascarpone, popcorn, lemon curd, cookie crumbs, freeze-dried orange and fresh fruits.
If you are looking for a colourful, Instagrammable food photo over the weekend, bookmark Chillout.
The above is the Coconut Creme Brulee with orange sorbet and cookie crumbs. Another perfect treat if you are looking for something sweet during your coffee break.
The spacious interior with different table sizes means Chillout can cater for all group sizes - from small to big.
