If you know me, you know I am a big fan of Tag Heuer. Around a similar price point, there is no watch brand that can match Tag Heuer's history, quality, technology and brand power. Of course, depending on how you compare, you may get better "value" from buying from a different brand like Oris or Nomos... Or some people say spend a little more and buy an Omega. I am not the biggest fan of Omega and I don't think their watches are worth the retail price at this stage - sorry Omega fans.
Anyways, take a look at this Tag Heuer Carrera with a green dial. Honestly, it was one of the best-looking green dial watches I have ever seen.

Topped with their Calibre Heuer 02 movement, this automatic column-wheel chronograph movement is finished beautifully (for this price point) and has an 80-hour power reserve.
The only "downside" is that the diameter is 44mm so it is a bigger watch; luckily, this fits on my wrist and it looks okay. For $9,150 NZD (retail) price, this may be one of the best chronograph watches in this price range.

As pictured above, one of the main reasons I really want this Tag Heuer Carrera is so that this can be a combo with my Rolex Datejust 41 Wimbledon - a beautiful green combo.
I am quite confident I can buy another Rolex watch this year from an authorised dealer. However, if I cannot buy another Rolex by the end of December this year, I am thinking of buying either this Tag Heuer or a Cartier Santos (automatic) - probably in full steel.
What do you think of this Tag Heuer Carrera? It is a beautiful watch.
