Butter Pastry is located in Christchurch City Centre and they make fresh, made-to-order pastries that are visually stunning and taste amazing. During my recent Christchurch trip, I got their Chocolate & Caramel Tart and the Caneles.
Tender seasalt caramel, 55% dark chocolate ganache, ganache montee and crystallised cocoa nib.
I liked eating this after chilling it in the fridge for a bit - it was super rich in taste; it was amazing.
There are other flavours to pick from as well so check out their menu on their website.
Lastly, these caneles were some of the best I have had - so crunchy on the outside but moist inside!
