Fairly hidden on High Street, you can find Chuffed, which is one of my favourite cafes in Auckland City.
I like Chuffed because their food is creative, aesthetically pleasing to look at and delicious; they use Rocket for their choice of coffee bean, which is actually my favourite at this moment.
I mean, look at the House-Made Crumpets above - with fark chocolate mousse, mulled wine, poached rhubarb, honeycomb and raspberries.
Chuffed is famous for its House-Made Crumpets, offering both savoury and sweet options. The picture above is their cured salmon version - with creme fraiche, pickled fennel, beetroot, fresh herbs and toasted nori.
With their menu changing often depending on the season, this new Open Omelette is literally snowed with parmesan cheese powder.
Not only their food/drinks, the team is friendly and the vibe is also very cool. It's definitely a place to hang out or to work on your laptop while drinking a delicious cup of coffee, or two.
By the way, did you know I like cauliflowers? Chuffed's take on it is the Tandoori Cauliflower: curry mayo, coconut raita, macadamia dukkah, coriander, focaccia.
Just look for the neon sign.
Make sure to check them out.
